PROJECT: LONER has been both an idea and it started turning into a project multiple times, to no avail however. I never ended up doing anything with the idea, but write some lore/story about it, and small amounts of code. I also ended up making a discord server I stopped using after a week or so.
Okay so the main idea was that PROEJCT: LONER was to be a game. That never ended up being a thing, because I always ended up being busy with something else, like school, so I never had either the time or the motivation to work on it.
The main idea/story behind the game was that you play as this eastern-euorpean (originally Romanian) guy, sometime in the 2060s, in a universe where Russia overextended, and ended up taking all of Moldovia from Romania, both the republic and the region, and annexed all the Baltics, Belarus and Ukraine.
This aforementioned guy would be around 20-30 years old, young adult, and would end up being kindapped by Russian spies, some way somehow, and these Russian guys would end up either stopping at a gas station or stopping for whatever reason on the way there, main character would escape, and that's where the game would begin.
The whole point of the game is that you make it back home, either by trainhopping, making enough money to hire a driver, making enough money to rent a plane, or straight up sneaking out of Russia, by foot, which would probably be the most difficult way.
For the technicals, it would be an FPS, in the same way Cyberpunk is an FPS, as in there's a lot more story to it than shooting, and it probably would be open-world. I was thinking of adding skill trees, and an intricate crafting system too, as I personally think that would be kind of fun, but I'll see if my mind changes when I actually turn this idea into a project.
